A former Tennessee Vols player is reportedly on the move for the second time in his collegiate career.

According to a report from On3's Pete Nakos, California running back Justin Williams-Thomas is planning to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens next week.

Williams-Thomas is a former four-star recruit from Dallas, GA that signed with Tennessee during the 2022 recruiting cycle. He was rated as the No. 22 running back in the 2022 recruiting class.

Williams-Thomas rushed for 37 yards on 11 carries for the Volunteers in 2022. He transferred to California and rushed for 91 yards on 21 carries for the Golden Bears in 2023.

The former Vol missed all of the 2024 season at California while dealing with a knee injury. Williams-Thomas, however, participated in spring practice with California this past month.
