Former Tennessee Vols standout Cordarrelle Patterson was inactive for the Atlanta Falcons this past weekend in their matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
But Patterson was still on the sideline with the team. And he spent a lot of time talking about the Vols' big win over the Alabama Crimson Tide.
At one point, Patterson even started singing Rocky Top while sitting on the bench, which led Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, a former Florida Gators star, to say "oh my God, y'all gotta cut that".
Longsnapper Liam McCullough, a former Ohio State player, tells Patterson "we'll see you in the playoff" after Patterson says the Vols can compete with anyone.
Patterson only spent one year at Tennessee, but it's clear Rocky Top made a big impression on him. And he's as excited as anyone over the Vols' 6-0 start and big win over Alabama.
