A former Tennessee Vols defensive back is reportedly returning to the SEC.

According to On3 college football insider Pete Nakos, Cincinnati Bearcats transfer defensive back Christian Harrison is signing with the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Harrison, the son of former NFL safety Rodney Harrison, spent the first three seasons of his career at Tennessee before transferring to Cincinnati ahead of the 2025 season.

Harrison entered the transfer portal for the second time following a solid 2025 campaign with the Bearcats. The Atlanta native totaled 66 tackles, seven passes defensed, and one interception during his lone season at Cincinnati. In three seasons at Tennessee, Harrison totaled 31 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and a half sack (Harrison played in 24 games at UT with four starts).

Christian Harrison played against Arkansas in 2024

Harrison played against Arkansas back in 2024 during his final season with the Vols.

The former Vol had one tackle and a half sack in Tennessee’s 19-14 loss to Arkansas in 2024.

Harrison will face some of his former Vol teammates in 2026 when Tennessee travels to Fayetteville on October 10 for a showdown with the Razorbacks.

Tennessee beat Arkansas 34-31 in Knoxville in 2025.
