A former Tennessee Vols running back is reportedly entering the NCAA transfer portal for a third time.

Former Vols running back Justin Williams-Thomas announced on Sunday that he plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal after spending the 2025 season at Marshall.

Williams-Thomas signed with Tennessee as a four-star recruit during the 2022 recruiting cycle. The Georgia native rushed for 37 yards for the Vols in 2022 before transferring to California ahead of the 2023 season. Williams-Thomas rushed for 91 yards at California in 2023. He missed all of the 2024 season while dealing with a knee injury at Cal.

The former Vol rushed for a career high 197 yards and two touchdowns at Marshall this past season. He also caught three passes for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Williams-Thomas has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
