A former Tennessee Vols standout thought the Tennessee Titans were going to select him in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Former Vols wide receiver Dont'e Thornton was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft (No. 108 overall).
Thornton recently joined OLV Raiders Network and he revealed that he thought the Titans might select him with the first pick in the fourth round.
"I actually thought that the Titans were going to get me," said Thornton. "They had the first pick in the fourth round, so I was thinking they were going to get me. But when they didn't, I was like, I don't know how this is about to go down."
The Titans ended up selecting Florida Gators wide receiver Chimere Dike with the first pick in the fourth round.
Las Vegas selected Thornton five picks later.
Thornton spent two seasons at Tennessee and he's from Baltimore, so I'm sure he would've enjoyed staying on the east coast, but he's also spent some time on the west coast via his two seasons at Oregon, so he should fit in just fine in Vegas.
