Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jauan Jennings had the biggest game of his career on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
Jennings, who is in his fifth season with the San Francisco 49ers, caught 11 passes for 175 yards and three touchdowns against LA.
Despite Jennings' massive game, the 49ers were unable to get the win.
San Francisco held a 21-7 lead midway through the third quarter, but they were outscored 20-3 by the Rams in the final 23 minutes of the game, eventually losing 27-24.
According to 49ers reporter Cam Inman, Jennings got dressed after the game and looked like he was going to speak to the media, before ultimately leaving the locker room out of frustration.
The fact that Jennings didn't speak to the media after the biggest regular season game of his career isn't a surprise at all. All Jennings really cares about is winning the game. He's the type of player that would rather have zero catches and get the win than a huge game and the loss.
There's obviously no drama when it comes to Jennings not speaking to the media. That's nothing more than one of the most competitive players in the NFL needing some time to process a tough loss.
