Former Tennessee Vols guard Dalton Knecht took care of the UT basketball team on Wednesday night in Indianapolis.

Tennessee arrived in Indy on Wednesday for their upcoming Sweet 16 matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats. The Vols were in attendance, thanks to Knecht, for the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.

Knecht, a first round selection by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft, hooked up the Tennessee basketball team with a suite for the game.

Knecht played just five minutes in the game, scoring three points after connecting on his only three-point attempt of the night (Knecht's minutes have dwindled since LeBron James returned from injury late last week).

The Tennessee basketball team, however, got to see a heck of game between the Lakers and the Pacers.

Los Angeles won on a buzzer beater when LeBron James tipped in a missed Luka Doncic shot to give the Lakers a 120-119 win.

The Lakers play in Chicago on Thursday before heading to Memphis for a game on Saturday night. Maybe Knecht will be able to find some time to stop in Indianapolis on Friday for the Vols' game against Kentucky.
