A former Tennessee Vols wide receiver is reportedly back in the NCAA transfer portal for the second time in the last four months.

Earlier this winter, Vols redshirt sophomore wide receiver Nathan Leacock entered the NCAA transfer portal and subsequently landed with the Purdue Boilermakers.

Leacock went through spring practice with Purdue, but now he's back in the transfer portal according to On3's Pete Nakos.

Leacock, 6-foot-3/217 lbs from Rolesville, NC, is a former four-star recruit who signed with Tennessee during the 2023 recruiting cycle. He was rated as the No. 76 overall player in the 2023 recruiting class.

The North Carolina native caught just one pass for 13 yards during his time at Tennessee.

Leacock's most memorable moment in the orange and white came in Tennessee's win against Chattanooga last season when he made a great effort play to keep six points off the board after backup quarterback Gaston Moore threw an interception.

Leacock was pointed out by ESPN last month as a "player to watch" in the Big 10 in 2025.
