The Tennessee Vols have made quite an impression on a 2025 three-star recruit from Georgia.

2025 three-star linebacker Luke Metz, 6-foot-3/210 lbs from Hoschton, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 52 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 54 linebacker in the nation.

Metz recently included the Vols among his top six schools, along with Duke, Ole Miss, LSU, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Part of the reason Metz included Tennessee is because he thinks everything about Vols football is "elite".

"I love Tennessee," said Metz to Rivals.com. "Who doesn’t want to play for a team like Tennessee? I'd get developed at Tennessee and would love the game day atmosphere. Tennessee is a gold mine for football and a real special place. I love them for sure. Everything about football at Tennessee is elite."

Metz was offered by Tennessee in December. He indicated to Rivals.com that he could announce his commitment before the end of spring football.

Tennessee currently has six players committed to its 2025 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 10 in the nation.
