Former Tennessee Vols basketball star Grant Williams was on the court for a historic NBA performance on Friday night in Atlanta.
Williams, who joined the Dallas Mavericks ahead of the 2023-24 season, watched teammate Luka Dončić score 73 points against the Hawks, which is tied for the fourth-most points ever in an NBA game.
Dončić accomplished the feat while shooting 76% from the field (25-of-33).
After the game, Williams, who scored nine points in the Mavericks' win, took to social media to celebrate Dončić's historic game with a hilarious tweet.
"82 points right here. Congrats brother that was special to witness it," wrote Williams.
Hilarious stuff from Grant. It was a special night for Dončić and certainly a night that Williams will never forget.
