An internet rumor that quickly spread about the Tennessee Vols this week was debunked on Thursday morning.
Over the last couple of days, multiple social media posts popped up that suggested that Tennessee might wear orange helmets against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday night.

Tennessee officially announced their uniform combination on Thursday morning for the Arkansas game and there will be no orange helmets in Fayetteville this weekend.
Instead, the Vols will wear their traditional white helmets, along with white jerseys and orange pants.
Tennessee fans everywhere can exhale.
I don't think there are many Vols fans that are eager to see the orange helmets in a night game on the road.
That's because the last time Tennessee wore orange helmets was in their shocking loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia in 2022.
I'm sure we'll see the orange helmets again at some point, but the Vols would probably be wise to save them for a non-conference "cupcake" game.
