The University of Tennessee knows a thing or two about firing coaches. Only a year ago, the Vols went through a tumultuous coaching search after firing football coach Jeremy Pruitt for cause and avoiding paying his sizable buyout by indicating Pruitt and the program in an NCAA investigation.
Now, SEC rival Auburn appears as though they might be taking a page out of UT's playbook by potentially concocting a way to fire their current head football coach, Brian Harsin, without having to pay all of his buyout. Although, it looks like AU may not have such an easy time figuring out how to correct their expensive mistake.
