Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jauan Jennings will be playing in his first Super Bowl this weekend.

Jennings, who has become known as third-and-Jauan in his role as a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, will face off against former Vols teammate Trey Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in Las Vegas in the final game of the 2023 NFL season.

Last month in the divisional round of the playoffs, Jennings went viral for a physical block on Green Bay Packers cornerback Corey Ballentine that ended at the Gatorade table behind the bench.

On Tuesday in Las Vegas, Jennings was asked by Nick Newman what he was thinking about when he blocked Ballentine into the bench. Jennings was also asked whether he'd prefer to catch a game-winning pass or make a game-winning block. And Jennings' answer just further confirms that the former Vol is a certified dog on the field.

"I'm just trying to finish, trying to put him on his back," said Jennings of his physical block during the Packers game. "It's football, man."

"That's either one, that's easy," added Jennings when asked about a game-winning catch versus a game-winning block. "That's 50/50. Either one as long as I'm winning."

How can you not love Jauan Jennings? He's an ultimate competitor who takes the field each and every week with only one objective — do whatever it takes to help the team win that day.
