Tennessee Vols redshirt senior quarterback Joe Milton gave a nod to his former UT teammate and roommate Hendon Hooker on Saturday during the Volunteers' win against the Virginia Cavaliers.

After scoring a touchdown to put the Vols up 28-3, Milton broke out a celebration in the end zone that he was asked about during the post-game press conference.

Milton told reporters that the celebration was for Hooker.

"That was for Hendo man," said Milton after Tennessee's 49-13 win against Virginia. "That was something that we always did in pregame."

Here's the celebration from Saturday's win against the Cavaliers.

Hooker and Milton were usually seen together before games last season — even after Hooker tore his ACL against South Carolina.

It's clear that the bond between Milton and Hooker is for life.

Milton and Hooker are a massive reason why the Vols are trending in the right direction. Without both of them buying in the last two years, Tennessee's football program likely wouldn't be in the position it's in right now.
