Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin was happy to see his former employer, the Tennessee Vols, knock off the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Starkville this past weekend.
Mississippi State isn’t necessarily a big threat to Ole Miss this season, but the Bulldogs are still the Rebels’ top rival in the SEC.
Lane Kiffin trolls Mississippi State over how many Tennessee fans were in Davis Wade Stadium
Mississippi State planned a white out for the game against Tennessee, but Vols fans, as they often do, showed up in droves and essentially ruined the white out.
Kiffin appeared on “Pardon My Take” this week, and he not-so-subtly trolled Barstool Sports personality Brandon Walker, a well-known Mississippi State fan, over the number of Tennessee fans that were at the game.
“That’s the Mississippi State guy?” said Kiffin when Walker’s name was mentioned. “Ask him how that game Saturday was in Neyland Stadium.”
“Exactly,” continued Kiffin when it was pointed out that the game was in Starkville. “Did you see it?”
There was certainly a lot of orange in Starkville on Saturday night. I’m betting that’s the last time Mississippi State plans a white out when Tennessee comes to town.
