Lane Kiffin can't help himself.

The man simply can't go more than a week or so without tweeting about the Tennessee Vols.

Maybe he misses Knoxville. Or maybe he enjoys trolling Tennessee. Whatever the case, he seemingly always has the Vols on his mind.

But I think that's part of what makes college football — and the SEC in particular — so much fun. The various personalities of the head coaches in the SEC always make things interesting. And so yeah, I think the SEC is better because Kiffin is in the league.

Anyway, back to his always-entertaining Twitter account.

Earlier this week, Kiffin sent a tweet that suggested the Vols' football program should take a look at his son, Knox Kiffin.

Knox, who turned 14 last month, can certainly spin it, though it's still too early to tell if he'll be an elite five-star prospect (we'll let the recruiting services handle the evaluation part).

But if does end up being a premier quarterback recruit, can you imagine if Tennessee pursued him? That would certainly be a turn of events.

By the way, most folks assumed that Knox was named after the city of Knoxville. But Kiffin said in 2009, shortly after taking the Tennessee job, that the name Knox was picked out before he accepted the UT job in late 2008.

Kiffin said his now ex-wife Layla picked out the name.

"He was named before I even got the job, actually," said Kiffin in 2009 (via ESPN). "[Layla] picked out the name because she had seen somebody else had named their kid Knox. I think it was Brad [Pitt] and Angelina [Jolie], actually. She had picked it out when we were still living in California."

(Knox is actually the middle name. Kiffin's son's first name is Monte, named after Lane's father.)

Either way, Knox was born in Knoxville and his dad coached at Tennessee. So it would be quite a storyline if he ends up on Rocky Top one day.
