It's been over 12 years since Lane Kiffin abruptly resigned as the head coach of the Tennessee Vols, but he still has UT on his mind every day it seems.

Kiffin routinely tweets about the Vols. And at this point, I don't know if he's trying to troll Tennessee or if he genuinely regrets leaving Knoxville. Either way, he thinks about the Vols a lot.

The latest tweet from Kiffin in regards to Tennessee came on Friday. The former UT head coach sent a good luck tweet to the Vols ahead of their huge showdown with Georgia this weekend in Athens.

When Kiffin said he was pulling for Tennessee to beat Alabama last month, it was pointed out that Bama losing was good for Ole Miss.

The game between the Vols and the Bulldogs, however, doesn't really have any impact on the Rebels. So this would appear to be a case of Kiffin being genuine.

Like him or not, Kiffin is good for the SEC. He keeps things interesting, he's made Ole Miss a team no one is excited to play, and he's perpetually fueling rumors via his social media habits.

Sounds a bit like a modern-day Steve Spurrier if you ask me. And every generation needs a college football villain. It might as well be Kiffin for the current generation.
