Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin threw some shade at a rival SEC head coach this week in a very Lane Kiffin way.

The Rebels are set to take on the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday.

Texas A&M, despite having a loaded roster, is 5-3 as they enter the final month of the 2023 season.

While previewing the game, Kiffin was asked about Ole Miss being ranked as a top 10 team for the third straight year. Kiffin used the question to throw some shade at Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies' struggles this season.

"To be able to do that, especially as you're going against a program that normally you would think would be the team in the top 10 three years in a row with their roster, that says a lot about our players," said Kiffin.

Kiffin then noted that he wants to get in the way of other teams achieving their goals. And he savagely pointed that Fisher's goal is to become bowl eligible with the Aggies' loaded roster.

You gotta give it to Lane — he always finds a way to keep things interesting. The trash talk in the SEC West — specifically between Texas A&M, Alabama, and Ole Miss — has been incredibly fun to watch over the last couple of years. It's a shame that Fisher will probably be on his way out of the SEC sooner rather than later. His stint as an SEC head coach hasn't been very fruitful, but it's certainly been entertaining.
