There's a joke that goes around social media at various times throughout the year about Alabama football fans doubling as Kentucky basketball fans.

The same joke suggests that these fans are usually Dallas Cowboys/Los Angeles Lakers/New York Yankees fans as well. They essentially align themselves with traditional winners.

On Saturday, that joke came to life during a basketball game between Alabama and Kentucky at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa.

A Twitter user snapped a photo of an Alabama "fan" in a Bama jersey with a Kentucky hat.

Later in the game, after Kentucky had built a healthy lead (the Wildcats won 66-55), the same fan was spotted in the same seat wearing a UK jersey.

I guess that fan was ready just in case Alabama pulled off the upset. Once it went south for the Tide, he broke out the Kentucky gear.

There's always going to be bandwagon fans — especially when it comes to Alabama and Kentucky.
