Tennessee went with alternate uniforms for two games this season. They wore the smokey grey uniforms on the road against LSU and they went dark mode for the matchup against Kentucky in late October.
Some fans love the alternate uniforms, while traditionalists aren't fans of non-orange and white uniforms.
If you're a traditionalist that wasn't a fan of the alternate looks, then I've got some good news for you.
The Vols are wearing their traditional home jerseys — orange top with white pants — this weekend against Missouri.
And that's absolutely the best decision the program could've made.
The game against Mizzou is Tennessee's final home game of the season. Which means it's the final game in Neyland Stadium for numerous players, including quarterback Hendon Hooker.
There should be no other uniform option on Senior Day. It has to be the traditional orange and white on every single Senior Day. That's just the way it should be for players in their final game in Neyland.
When it comes to uniform choices this season, I feel like the Vols have done a great job of mixing things up. I wasn't a huge fan of the smokey greys in Baton Rouge, but recruits seemed to like them and that's ultimately what matters for the program.
