Missouri Tigers head coach Eli Drinkwitz proved plenty of doubters wrong last season.

After failing to win more than six games in each of his first three seasons at Missouri, Drinkwitz and the Tigers broke through in a big way in 2023, going 11-2 with wins against Tennessee and Florida.

Despite the success last season, Drinkwitz is still the king of cringe in the SEC. And he added to his lengthy history of being cringe recently with a video clip of himself "playing" a guitar.

Drinkwitz looks like a 17 year old circa 2001 attempting to play Blink-182 covers on an out-of-tune generic Stratocaster in his friend's garage. You know, the friend that can't quite figure out the distortion pedal and has the guitar strap hanging way too low.

I'm not sure who greenlighted that clip, but there's gotta be a better way to win over recruits than pretending to go full pop-punk.

But like we said, it's not the first time that Drinkwitz has added to the already considerable amount of cringe that exists on the internet.

Last August, Drinkwitz went viral for his awkward celebration after Missouri landed one of their top recruiting targets.

We still have no clue why Drinkwitz was randomly holding a baseball bat in the video.

There was also the time this past basketball season when Drinkwitz told Tennessee's huddle that they weren't "that tough".

Or how about the time last season when Drinkwitz told Vols head coach Josh Heupel "We stand on business, Josh" after the Tigers' win against Tennessee.

Maybe he meant to say "We stand on cringe, Josh" — that would certainly make a lot more sense.
