2020 Tennessee Vols quarterback commit Harrison Bailey is widely regarded as the future of UT football.
Bailey, who committed to Tennessee just over a year ago, is rated by Rivals and 247Sports as a four-star recruit, but plenty of folks think the talented 6-foot-4 quarterback should be elevated to five-star status.
Rivals national recruiting analyst Chad Simmons is one of those folks.
Simmons, who watched Bailey play the last two weeks, was impressed by the future Vol, saying "He (Bailey) has really improved his overall game, especially his mobility and he is a quarterback who is expected to make a lot of noise in the coming months at Tennessee."
Simmons added that he believes Bailey "could be the man right away next fall in Knoxville".
There's certainly a lot of hype surrounding Bailey right now. But there's no reason to believe the Georgia native isn't deserving of the hype.
Not only is Bailey an immensely talented football player, he's also a fantastic all around person.
Bailey is scheduled to sign this week and enroll at Tennessee in January.
With one more Rivals rating update on the way before the end of the 2020 signing period, it's entirely possible that Bailey will arrive on campus as a five-star recruit.
But even if doesn't, there's absolutely no doubt that Tennessee is getting an absolute stud in Bailey.
