The Tennessee Vols are reportedly losing a defensive analyst that has over a decade of coaching experience.

According to On3's Matt Zenitz, the Jacksonville Jaguars are hiring Vols defensive analyst Cory Robinson as the franchise's cornerbacks coach.

Tennessee hired Robinson ahead of the 2023 season after he spent the three previous seasons as an assistant secondary coach with the New Orleans Saints.

Robinson started his coaching career at Calvert Hall in Baltimore in 2009. He landed his first college job in 2015 as the director of player personnel at Maryland. In 2016, he was hired to coach cornerbacks at Temple. Robinson also coached defensive backs in an on-field role at Rutgers and Maryland before joining the Saints in 2020.

Analyst roles don't receive a lot of attention, but they can be key game planning and film prep.
