Tennessee Vols legend Peyton Manning received an incredible/hilarious response when he asked a sitting NFL head coach for a few minutes to chat about an upcoming game that was featured on the ManningCast.
Manning texted Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel ahead of the Dolphins' game against the Tennessee Titans (which was simulcast on ESPN2 as part of the ManningCast). The Hall of Fame quarterback wanted to chat with McDaniel as part of his preparation for the game.
McDaniel was immediately all-in.
"Umm yes, you're f—ing Payton Manning Bro," replied McDaniel.
You might notice that Peyton's first name is misspelled, which the former Vol acknowledged during the broadcast.
McDaniel is the head coach of one of the top teams in the NFL this season and he's still starstruck by Peyton.
The Sheriff just has that kind of effect on folks.
