Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin dropped an awesome (an sentimental) Tennessee Vols throwback on Tuesday.
Kiffin, who was the head coach at Tennessee way back in 2009 (16 years ago…that doesn't seem real), tweeted a photo of a couple of bobbleheads of himself and his father, Monte (who served as UT's defensive coordinator in 2009), in Tennessee gear.
The bobbleheads appeared to be the result of a partnership between the Vols and First Tennessee Bank (which is now First Horizon Bank).
Monte, one of the greatest defensive minded coaches in the history of the sport (Monte helped popularized the famed "Tampa 2" defense), passed away last summer in Oxford at the age of 84.
