Pittsburgh Panthers redshirt senior offensive lineman Marcus Minor met with reporters this week to discuss his team's upcoming matchup with the Tennessee Vols.
And Minor handed out a compliment that can best be described as…bizarre?
Minor said he's looking forward to the challenge of playing the Vols while adding that Tennessee is "gonna be the prettiest team we probably see".
I guess that's a compliment? It doesn't sound like Minor was taking a shot at the Vols.
However, after I tweeted that video, a few folks suggested that maybe Pittsburgh is trying to turn this into an "ugly" game and Minor is suggesting that Tennessee won't be up to the challenge.
That seems like a bit of a stretch, but I can also see how some Vols fans could take it that way.
There's no doubt that Pittsburgh is trying to paint itself as the underdog and this could be another method they're using.
It should be a great game on Saturday afternoon. It's easily the most important game of the Josh Heupel era so far.
