Tennessee Volse fans are excited about 2026 five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon.
There’s a lot of excitement among Tennessee Vols fans for 2026 five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon.
Brandon, 6-foot-4/206 pounds from Greensboro, NC, was rated by 247Sports as the No. 3 quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class.
The talented quarterback enrolled at Tennessee last month.
Faizon Brandon receives big compliment from recruiting analyst
On3’s Charles Power labeled Brandon this week as the 2026 quarterback with the “most upside”.
“Faizon Brandon touts one of the most complete physical skill sets of any quarterback in the 2026 cycle,” wrote Power. “The Grimsley standout combines a projectable frame, strong arm, and plus athleticism that give him notable long-term upside. He generates quality velocity on his passes and shows the ability to distribute accurate passes from the pocket or on the move. Brandon’s combination of size, coordination, and confidence allows him to play with balance and control, and he’s a capable runner who adds a dual-threat element to his game.”
Brandon likely won’t have a chance to win the starting quarterback job at Tennessee as a true freshman with Joey Aguilar now likely to return in 2026.
Still, there’s no doubt that Brandon is the quarterback of the future for the Volunteers. The North Carolina native has the talent to be the top pick in the NFL Draft one day.
