The Tennessee Vols are firmly in the mix for 2026 four-star defensive back Nassir McCoy after his recent visit to Rocky Top for UT's 24-17 win against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

McCoy told On3 this week that Tennessee is "definitely" one of his top 10 schools.

The talented defensive back also told On3 that the visit for Tennessee's win against Alabama was a "mind-changer" for him, in part because Alabama is also one of his top schools.

“Tennessee’s win was huge because Alabama is another top school for me,” said McCoy. “That game was a mind-changer for me.”

McCoy, 6-foot-2/180 lbs from Buford, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 22 cornerback in the nation and the No. 22 player in the state of Georgia.

Ohio State, Georgia, Oregon, Texas, Auburn, USC, and LSU are also among McCoy's top schools

Tennessee currently has four players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is headlined by five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, who is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 overall recruit in the nation.
