Dallas Cowboys OLB Micah Parsons had some strong words for the former Tennessee Vols and current Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback before the teams faced off last Sunday, saying he was going to put Dobbs on a bulletin board and throw darts at him.
As it turns out, Dobbs was up for the challenge, as he led the Cardinals to a 28-16 win over the Cowboys as 11.5-point home underdogs. Parsons only managed to total one sack in the game on Dobbs, who completed 17 of 21 attempts for 189 yards and a touchdown – good for a 120.0 passer rating – with 55 rushing yards added in.
Afterwards, Dobbs had some fun at Parsons' expense via TikTok.
Parsons is arguably the most feared pass rusher in the NFL today. A back-to-back first team All-Pro edge rusher, he is a nightmare for opposing coaches to plan for, opposing tackles to block, and opposing QBs to dodge.
Unless you're number nine for the Arizona Cardinals. Dobbs managed to completely fake out Parsons on the second play of the game, pick up 43 yards on the ground, and send the message that the Cowboys were in for a fight.
Parsons typically has the game to back up his talk. However, before a national television audience last Sunday, Dobbs showed the brightest star on "America's Team" that he's a tough target to hit.
