If you were a regular viewer of The Jimmy Kimmel Show in 2010, you might recognize a Tennessee Vols true freshman baseball player who will take the field this spring for the program.

Way back in 2010, Vols freshman infielder Ariel Antigua went viral as a five-year-old for his ability to hit high-velocity fastballs, which led to him meeting stars of the game such as Manny Ramirez and Don Mattingly. After making a trip to Dodger Stadium for batting practice in the summer of 2010, Antigua appeared on The Jimmy Kimmel Show and showed off his impressive hitting skills.

Later in 2010, Sports Illustrated published an article about Antigua, who, again, was only five years old at the time.

Antigua is the favorite to start at shortstop for Tennessee this spring. He arrived in Knoxville ranked by Perfect Game as the No. 137 player in the country and the No. 34 shortstop.
