The Tennessee Vols' 79-76 win against the Alabama Crimson Tide this past weekend was easily one of the most thrilling wins in program history.
Not only was the game a matchup of two top six teams fighting for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, but it was also a huge rivalry game.
That's what it was fitting that the game, which was played on March 1, ended with a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Vols guard Jahmai Mashack.
On Monday evening, Tennessee's creative team (which continues to be the best in the business) put out an incredible recap video of the win against Alabama that features some cool behind-the-scenes moments (along with some appropriately dramatic background music).
"You're down to three regular season games, you don't leave anything left with energy, effort, and focus," says Barnes to his team before the game in the video.
"They want to win just as bad as we do," says Mashack to his teammates before the game. "We just gotta show it."
Barnes said it best at the end of the video: "All I can say is March Madness is here".
That was easily the best college basketball game of the year (so far). We'll see if the Vols can top it in the following weeks.
