Tennessee Football: 2024 4-star recruit makes encouraging prediction for Vols

There's no denying that Tennessee football is trending in the right direction under Josh Heupel.
The Vols' improvement from 2020 to 2021 — specifically on the offensive side of the ball — was unbelievable. Tennesee went from the No. 109 scoring offense in the nation to the No. 7 scoring offense in the nation.
In just one year!
(While also losing numerous key offensive players, including stud running back Eric Gray and former five-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris.)
The expectation is that Tennessee will continue to improve under Heupel — the Vols are obviously nowhere close to where they want to be.

At least one key recruit — 2024 four-star defensive back Kaleb Beasley — believes the 2021 season was just the beginning of something special in Knoxville.
“Coach Heupel is a great guy and has changed the whole Tennessee program around,” said Beasley to VolQuest recently. “Tennessee is about to be one of the best schools in the SEC.”
Beasley, who is also being pursued by Notre Dame, Penn State, Georgia, and LSU, has a unique vantage point when it comes to UT's football program — he's the cousin of current Vol linebacker Aaron Beasley.
So these aren't just empty words from a recruit because he received a great sales pitch from Tennessee's coaches. Beasley knows about the behind-the-scenes stuff — the good and/or the bad. He knows the secrets that don't get told on recruiting trips.
And knowing all of those things, his takeaway is that Tennessee is about to be one of the best programs in the SEC.
That should certainly be encouraging to Vol fans. Beasley is one of the top players in the 2024 recruiting class. He's had plenty of conversations with elite coaches. And it's clear he thinks Heupel is in that elite category.
