Tennessee Vols true freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava made a few new fans this week thanks to his strong performance in UT's Citrus Bowl win against the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Including one new fan that's one of the most famous athletes in sports.
NBA superstar Kevin Durant, who currently plays for the Phoenix Suns, commented "that boy different" on an Instagram post that featured Iamaleava.
Durant, who played college basketball at Texas under current Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes, must've been watching the Citrus Bowl on New Year's Day.
And he's far from the only person that had that same takeaway after watching Nico earn Citrus Bowl MVP honors against the Hawkeyes. Durant, however, is definitely one of the most famous people to have that thought while watching the young Tennessee quarterback this week.
