Tennessee is reportedly receiving a visit from a transfer linebacker with a connection to the Vols
The Tennessee Vols are looking to make a couple of splashes in the NCAA transfer portal.
The Tennessee Vols are receiving a visit from North Carolina Tar Heels transfer linebacker Khmori House, according to CBS Sports college football insiders Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer.
House, 6-foot/215 pounds from Pasadena, CA, totaled 78 tackles, one sack, one interception, and a forced fumbled for the Tar Heels last season.
The former three-star recruit signed with the Washington Huskies out of high school during the 2024 recruiting cycle. House transferred to North Carolina ahead of the 2025 season.
House is also planning to visit the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Khmori House has a relationship with Tennessee Vols linebackers coach William Inge
House has an existing relationship with Vols linebackers coach William Inge, which makes this an obvious fit for both sides.
Inge, who served as the Huskies’ co-defensive coordinator in 2022 and 2023, recruited House to Washington.
“That’s my guy, we have a great relationship,” said House of Inge in 2023. “He has been with me from the beginning.”
House, who was named the ACC linebacker of the week after totaling 13 tackles and an interception in a win against Stanford in November, was offered by Tennessee as a high school recruit in 2022.
