2024 four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley, a Tennessee Vols signee from Nashville, should be an instant fan favorite on Rocky Top after the tweet he sent on Thursday.

A Vols fan took to Twitter to project Tennessee's starting secondary in 2024 and Beasley wasn't one of the names listed.

Beasley saw the tweet and quickly sent a response, indicating that he plans to be part of the Vols' solution at cornerback as a true freshman next fall.

It's never easy for a true freshman to break into defensive coordinator Tim Banks and cornerbacks coach Will Martinez's rotation. But Beasley, who was the No. 15 cornerback in the 2024 recruiting class, is clearly aiming to force his way onto the field next fall.

You have to love that demeanor from the young defensive back. It would be easy for Beasley to accept that he needs to learn the defense while playing behind more experienced players in 2024. But it looks like Beasley has a sense of urgency when it comes to playing a key role for the Vols.

Beasley, as the kids like to say, appears to have that dog in him.
