Robinson, who is being recruited to Tennessee by defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley and outside linebackers coach Chris Rumph, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 3 player in the state of Maryland and the No. 93 overall player in the nation. He projects as an outside linebacker who can get after the quarterback at the next level.

The Maryland native unofficially visited Tennessee last summer.

247Sports talent evaluator Brian Dohn described Robinson as a potential multi-year starter at a top 15 program that plays with "power and speed".

The Vols currently have four players committed to their 2021 recruiting class.
