The Tennessee Vols are one of six schools in the mix for 2026 four-star wide receiver Daniel Odom.
Odom, 6-foot-1/178 lbs from Bellflower, CA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 33 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 24 player in the state of California. He's also rated as the No. 192 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
“Oregon, Texas, Miami, Washington, Tennessee, and Oklahoma are my top six schools,” said Odom to On3 this week.
Scouting report via 247Sports: Has all the physical tools to be a dominant outside receiver at the college level. Good sized wide out pushing 6-2, 190 pounds and plays a physical game. Quick off the line and very good releases. Can beat press and uses his body well to create separation. Strong kid who can bully opposing corners and picks up a lot of yards after contact. Shows good top end speed and can routinely get behind a defense. Strong hands, dominant in the air and catches the ball well through contact. Really nice all around game and has a high ceiling with the talent to play at the high Power 4 level.
Odom hasn't taken a visit yet to Tennessee, but that's expected to change next year.
"I haven’t been there yet, but I really like how coach (Josh) Heupel recruits me and takes the time to talk to me," said Odom to On3 of his interest in the Vols. "He is a great coach and he is very consistent with me every week."
Tennessee currently has six players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 5 in the nation.
