The Tennessee Vols are one of the top schools for an elite 2027 cornerback that nearly every program in the nation is hoping to land.

2027 four-star cornerback Ace Alston is being pursued by numerous top programs, including Penn State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Missouri, among others.

According to On3’s Steve Wiltfong, Alston “has the Vols near the top of his list at this point in the process”.

Alston, 5-foot-11/175 lbs from Cincinnati, OH, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 13 cornerback in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Ohio.

Tennessee Vols hosting several key recruits for game against the Arkansas Razorbacks

Tennessee is hosting several key recruits this weekend, as noted by Wiltfong on Thursday.

The biggest visitor is easily 2027 five-star running back David Gabriel Georges, one of the most dynamic high school players in the nation.

Tennessee is battling Ohio State for the elite running back.

The Vols are recruiting at a high level these days, but Tennessee can’t revel in its success — it’s always about the next recruiting battle.
