The Tennessee Vols are one of the top schools for an elite five-star wide receiver from Mississippi.

2026 five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys told On3 this week that while he doesn't have a No. 1 school quite yet, Tennessee is one of the programs that's high on his list.

“I don’t have quite my No. 1 school yet, but I have some schools in mind…Right now, I would say Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU, Ole Miss," said Keys to On3. "I can’t really think off my head, but it’s a couple more schools.”

Keys, 6-foot-2/175 lbs from Hattiesburg, MS, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 4 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Mississippi. He's also rated as the No. 24 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

The coveted wide receiver visited Tennessee last month for the Vols' win against Florida.

Keys will be back in Knoxville this weekend for Tennessee's matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats.

The atmosphere at Neyland on Saturday night is expected to be wild, so the Vols have a huge opportunity to make another great impression on Keys as his recruitment starts to heat up.
