A former Tennessee Vols assistant coach has been hired by the Tennessee Titans.
The Titans announced on Tuesday that the franchise has hired former Vols defensive line coach Tracy Rocker to new head coach Brian Callahan's inaugural coaching staff.
This will be Rocker's second stint with the Titans as the franchise's defensive line coach. He previously worked as the Titans' defensive line coach from 2011 to 2013.
Rocker served as Tennessee's defensive line coach from 2018 to 2019 under Jeremy Pruitt. Rocker left Tennessee after the 2019 season (he was replaced by Jimmy Brumbaugh, who was fired by Pruitt just four games into the 2020 season).
Most recently, Rocker served as the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive line coach from 2021 to 2023. He's also spent time at Georgia, Auburn (his alma mater), Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Cincinnati. Rocker spent two years as a player in the NFL.
