A couple of Tennessee Vols commits made a public pitch on social media to a former five-star recruit who played high school football in the Knoxville area.
Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolen isn't in the transfer portal, but there's some speculation that he could look to transfer with a new regime taking over in College Station.
The Vols were heavily in the mix for Nolen, who finished his high school career at Powell High School, before he signed with the Aggies.
2024 Vols commits Boo Carter and Kaleb Beasley tweeted at Nolen this week that he should transfer to Tennessee.

Tennessee is in the market for a transfer defensive lineman as evidenced by their recent offer to Middle Tennessee defensive lineman Marley Cook.
If Nolen hits the transfer portal, Tennessee would likely be considered one of the favorites to land the talented defensive lineman. And it's clear that he'd be welcomed on Rocky Top.
Nolen, who is originally from Memphis, was rated as the No. 2 overall player in the 2022 recruiting class.
