A Tennessee Vols defender entered the NCAA transfer portal on Sunday, the day after UT's 42-17 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the first round of the College Football Playoff.
Vols redshirt sophomore defensive back Christian Harrison announced on Sunday that he's entering the transfer portal.
"Thank you to the man above for blessing me with everything; without Him, I am nothing," wrote Harrison in a tweet. "Also, thank you to the Tennessee fans for all of the support. With that being said, I will be entering my name in the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining."
Harrison, who is the son of former NFL Pro Bowl safety Rodney Harrison, totaled 20 tackles and a half sack in 2024.
During his three seasons at Tennessee, Harrison accumulated 31 total tackles. He has two season of eligibility remaining.
Harrison played some key snaps for the Vols this season. Losing him to the portal isn't crippling for Tennessee, but it certainly hurts the Vols' secondary depth.
