Former Tennessee Vols defensive back Theo Jackson made his first career interception on Thursday night in front of a national television audience.

Jackson, a safety for the Minnesota Vikings, intercepted Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts on Thursday night in Philly's 34-28 win on Amazon Prime's Thursday Night Football.

Jackson, who played at Tennessee from 2017 to 2021, was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The former Vol didn't make the Titans' 53-man roster last season and he was placed on the practice squad as a result.

Minnesota signed Jackson off the Titans' practice squad last October.

Jackson, by the way, isn't the only former Vol on the Vikings' roster. Former Tennessee running back Ty Chandler, who finished his collegiate career at North Carolina, is also on Minnesota's roster. Chandler and Jackson played at Tennessee together from 2017 to 2021.
