Tennessee Vols fans have a reputation for being intense and "crazy".

It's a reputation that first took the nation by storm in late 2017 when a fan revolt helped prevent the Vols from hiring Greg Schiano to replace Butch Jones.

The trash-throwing incident during the Tennessee/Ole Miss game last year seemingly solidified the way Vols fans are viewed by the rest of the country.

I don't think Tennessee fans, however, deserve the reputation they've received.

Vols fans are passionate, but they're also some of the most helpful and caring people in the world.

For example, Tennessee fans this week are rallying around a young opposing fan's health needs.

There's a GoFundMe set up for a young Campbell University fan named Gabby to help with accessible travel.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We are so thankful for everyone that has helped whether it was money, prayers or just sharing our story and fundraiser. We finally were able to get the van modified for my wheelchair!! It was sent off the beginning of Aug and got it back in September. Took about 6wks but was so worth it! Thank you everyone that has helped make this happen! We are still trying to finish paying off the van. Luckily the payments are low since they were spread out over 3yrs. We can't wait to take many adventures on the van. Gabby has named the van Fluffy. I'm not sure where she got that name but she's stuck with it so Fluffy it is!

Campbell is one of the baseball programs that will be playing in the Knoxville regional this weekend.

If you take a look at the GoFundMe, you'll notice that many of the recent donations are from Tennessee fans, who got wind of the fundraiser via Twitter.

"Happy to donate from Vol Nation! Enjoy the game young lady," wrote one Vols fan who donated to the fundraiser.

Tennessee fans continue to prove they're among the best fans in the country. Whether it's passionately cheering on the Vols or rallying around a good cause, Tennessee fans always deliver.
