Tennessee Vols fans received a good sign on Friday when it comes to redshirt freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava's availability for UT's game against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.
Iamaleava is traveling with the team to Athens on Friday.
Iamaleava, who has reportedly been in the concussion protocol after suffering an injury against Mississippi State last weekend, was listed as questionable for the Georgia game on Thursday night.
When the new SEC injury report is released on Friday night, he'll still likely be listed as questionable. If Iamaleava wasn't traveling with the team to Athens, he would have to be listed as out on the Friday injury report.
This doesn't guarantee that Iamaleava will play against Georgia, but it's certainly a step in the right direction.
The feeling continues to be that Iamaleava will be good to go on Saturday night when the Vols take the field against the Bulldogs. But we likely won't know Iamaleava's official status until closer to kickoff on Saturday.
