Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel received the game ball from quarterback Nico Iamaleava on Saturday night after a huge 25-15 win against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The win was Heupel's first time back in Norman as a competitor since he was fired by the program nearly 10 years ago.

“This game was never about me coming back here," said Heupel when asked about getting the game ball. "Not for this football team. And I say all that, they also understood that this one was a little bit different for me personally, too. But that’s not what it was about. But I do appreciate their recognition of that and wanting that for me.”

While Heupel made it clear that the game wasn't about him, he also made sure to point out that he'll be keeping the game ball in his office.

"It’ll go in the office for sure," said Heupel.

Tennessee is now 4-0 on the season. They get a week of rest before taking on the Arkansas Razorbacks on the road.
