There isn't much that divides Tennessee Vols fans, but one subject that splits the fan base down the middle is whether or not folks should "woo" during the chorus of Rocky Top.

It's a debate that's raged for years. Some fans are staunchly against wooing during the Vols' unofficial fight song. Enough fans, however, are pro-woo that anytime you hear Rocky Top during a Tennessee sporting event, you're going to hear plenty of woos, too.

Vols head coach Josh Heupel appeared on the Everything Orange podcast this week and he took a hard stance on wooing during Rocky Top — he thinks it's a must.

"Absolutely," said Heupel when asked if he woos during Rocky Top. "It's a must, it's a must."

Wooing obviously isn't part of the original song, but despite the best efforts of the anti-woo fans, it seems like the majority of fans (along with the head coach of the football team) are pro-woo. And I can't blame them. It's just part of being a festive Vols fan.
