Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel was in Indiana this week to check in on a 2025 edge rusher.
Heupel stopped by Elkhart High School in Indiana on Thursday to visit four-star edge rusher Mariyon Dye.
Dye, 6-foot-5/235 lbs from Elkhart, IN, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 24 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 5 player in the state of Indiana.
Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Wisconsin are among the programs that's offered Dye over the last couple of weeks.
Dye was offered by the Vols last July when he took an unofficial visit to Tennessee.
It looks like Dye is rapidly gaining attention from some of the top programs in the nation. The Vols, however, were among the first Power-5 programs to offer Dye, which should give Tennessee an edge in this recruiting battle.
One big advantage George MacIntyre will have as a true freshman at Tennessee in 2025
Just another reason why MacIntyre is a perfect fit for the Vols
