The Tennessee Vols are reportedly the "team to beat" for a 2025 four-star defensive lineman that the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs are also targeting.

2025 three-star defensive lineman Charles House told On3 this week that Tennessee is leading the way in his recruitment ahead of his commitment announcement later next next month.

"They make me feel very important and Tennessee is the team to beat for me," said House.

The four-star recruit also told On3 that he has a "great feeling" about the Vols and the way he feels when he's on campus in Knoxville is what gives Tennessee the "edge" in his recruitment.

House, 6-foot-3/300 lbs from Charlotte, NC, is rated by On3 as the No. 23 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 9 player in the state of North Carolina.

The coveted recruit will take an official visit to Alabama on May 31 before taking an official visit to Georgia on June 7. House's official visit to Tennessee is set for June 14.

According to On3, House will choose between Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee on June 22.

It sounds like Tennessee is sitting in a good spot for House, but the Vols will have to survive his official visits to Alabama and Georgia before they can breathe easy in this recruiting battle.
