Tennessee Vols junior wide receiver Jalin Hyatt made a comment after UT's win against LSU in Baton Rouge on Saturday that should make fans smile.
Hyatt told reporters after the game that it didn't feel like Tennessee was playing on the road thanks to the large contingent of Vols fans that made the trip to Louisiana.
After the Vols beat the Tigers, and LSU fans had vacated the premises, the crowd in Death Valley was as orange as the sun.
"It's rare that you have a fan base that travels the way that ours is right now," said Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel.
Vols quarterback Hendon Hooker said the presence of UT fans was the difference in the game.
I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest that Tennessee has the most passionate fan base in the nation.
LSU fans might not want to admit it, but I think they'd have a hard time arguing with that statement after watching Vols fans take over Baton Rouge and New Orleans this weekend.
